Ranking on Google.com is only the first market. Your app can rank in the UK, India, Canada, Australia, Germany, Brazil and beyond often with less competition. Here's the cheap version.

    Step 1: hreflang, done right

hreflang tells Google which language and region each version of a page is for. Even if you only have English content, adding hreflang for en-us, en-gb, en-in, en-au, en-ca signals that your page serves multiple English-speaking markets Google will surface it in each.

    Step 2: market-specific keywords

The same tool has different search demand in different markets. "cheap SaaS" in India, "invoicing software" in the UK, "tax invoice" in Australia. Semrush lets you flip the database per country do it before you write copy.

    Step 3: localized landing pages

    • One landing page per market (e.g. /uk, /in, /au) with local pricing in local currency.
    • Local testimonials and screenshots. Bonus points for a local phone number.
    • Local payment methods UPI in India, iDEAL in NL, Pix in Brazil.

Step 4: cheap AI translation for non-English markets

GPT-4o and Claude are shockingly good at translation now pair them with a native-speaker review for the top 3 pages (home, pricing, hero landing). Translate the rest with AI + light QA. Total cost: less than a dinner.

    Key takeaway
Localizing early is one of the highest-use SEO plays in 2026. Most competitors haven't done it, and Google is actively looking for local results.
