From idea to launch in a weekend
A step-by-step story of shipping a paid micro-SaaS in 48 hours using Build on Vibe.
From idea to launch in a weekend
Friday 6pm: idea. Sunday 8pm: first paying customer. Here is exactly how the weekend went and the mistakes we caught in time.
Friday: the spec, not the code
Friday evening was for the spec. Not the code the spec. One page, one job-to-be-done, one screen sketch, one pricing number ($9/month). Sleep on it.
Saturday: focused building
Saturday was building. Focus Mode ran 4×90-minute sessions. Between them: walks, coffee, no Twitter. Stack: Lovable + Supabase + Stripe. No custom components until Sunday.
- Block 1 (9–10:30) auth + database schema
- Block 2 (11–12:30) the one core screen
- Block 3 (14–15:30) Stripe checkout + webhook
- Block 4 (16–17:30) polish states (empty, loading, error)
Sunday: launch
Sunday morning was polish real copy, real screenshots, real Stripe test. Sunday afternoon: launch on a community forum + 1 tweet. First sale at 6:47pm.
