Designing an app for solo founders (what we learned)
Design
Solo founders don't need more features. They need less noise. That guided every design decision behind Build on Vibe.
What we removed
- Sidebars stuffed with rarely used menu
- Notification badges begging for attention
- Dashboards you'd open once and never again
- Empty states that ask for eight fields
What's left
What you're doing right now. The current step. The prompt you're writing. The timer counting down. Nothing else competes for your attention.
“Users spend more time in the app but feel like they spent less. That's the whole design brief.”
