A drag-and-connect Workflow Engine that turns internal SOPs into agent-driven pipelines with human-in-the-loop gates.
The client had 40+ standard operating procedures living in Notion and Google Docs. We built a visual Workflow Engine where each SOP is modeled as a directed graph of steps: some steps are agent calls, some are integrations (Slack, HubSpot, Stripe, internal APIs), some are human approvals. Every run is persisted, replayable, and observable, and the graph structure means an ops lead can edit a workflow without touching code. The key architectural decision was separating the graph definition from the run history. That gave us fully-typed step schemas, safe rollbacks when a workflow changes, and per-tenant customization without forking. Agents run on the platform's AI Gateway with per-tenant rate limits and cost tracking.
